Due to the high water levels in the Spokane River in mid June, we unfortunately won’t be hosting water sports demos or activities for Spokatopia this year.

New Spokatopia Poker Ride

On Saturday from 10 AM to high Noon, try your hand at poker on wheels! Ride our cross-country Spokatopia Poker Ride course from the Spokatopia festival to the Beacon Hill towers and back with stops along the way to complete challenges and collect poker cards. Participate in some other challenges/spectacles for the chance to improve your hand (details coming soon). Killer prizes for best hands and other categories, with good times benefitting Evergreen East in the beer garden post ride. All ages and rider ability levels welcome, but must be willing and able to ride 8-10 miles with over 800 feet of climbing. Class 1 pedal-assist e-bikes welcome.

2024 Bike Demo Partners

We may still add additional bike demo brands but one month out we have demo bikes from North Division Bicycle, Shred, and The Bike Hub including the Northwest Pivot demo fleet, Trek, Transition, Giant and other bike brands. Evergreen East will also have a demo fleet of youth mountain bikes on hand (Co-Op Cycles bikes from REI). To demo bikes, you need to have a Spokatopia Demo Pass or Gold Pass and respect the demo bikes (picture ID and signed waiver required for all demos). Demo pass prices go up after May 31 so don’t wait!

THESE AWESOME SPONSORS ARE MAKING SPOKATOPIA 2024 HAPPEN!

Shuttle up, Ride down. Sekani MTB Shuttles

Spokatopia is the only day of the year when riders can put their bikes on a Huckwagons bike trailer and catch a shuttle van ride to the top of Sekani for a gravity-fueled ride back down the trail of your choice! Don’t miss your chance to shuttle Sekani! A Spokatopia shuttle pass and insurance waiver is required to ride the shuttle. The shuttles run from 5-8:30 PM on Friday June 14 and 9 AM-3 PM on Saturday, June 15.

Bikes & Brews Adult Beverage Garden & Food

Enjoy beer, cider and wine from your favorite brands from the Inland Northwest. Proceeds benefit Evergreen East and local trails – drink up and support your local mountain bike club! Special thanks to our 2024 presenting beer sponsor New Belgium Brewing. 2024 eats provided by Good ‘Dilla food truck.

Live Music

Listen to live music from the Bikes n’ Brews beverage garden or in front of the stage on Saturday, June 15. We are stoked to bring back Agápē at 10:30 AM and Suhanna Cree from 1-3 PM. More info on the musicians here.

Mountain Bike Jump Show

Watch talented local riders fly through the air on bikes, pulling off tricks and launching off huge gap jumps that few mountain bikers can execute and land in the bike jump park. Come cheer the riders on at 1:30 PM, Saturday June 15 at Camp Sekani Park!

Kids/Family Activities

Kids can bring their bikes to ride on the pump track or try one of the demo mountain bikes (youth sizes) at the Evergreen East tent. Kids can also try BMX bikes in the pump track sponsored by Spokane BMX; little riders can cruise around on the Strider bike course next to the beer garden. There will also be slacklining; 2-hour kids nature/adventure camp or kids bike camps (sign up in advance); and two Bugs n’ Snakes presentations of live insects and reptiles on Saturday June 15 (time TBA).

Kids Bike & Nature/Adventure Mini-Camps

Our 2-hour kids camps (ages 5-10 years old) include outdoor adventure/nature exploration (Saturday only) and beginner mountain bike/nature exploration (Friday and Saturday). Camps take place at the festival grounds (Spokane’s Camp Sekani Park). Space is limited and booking online in advance is encouraged. More camp info and registration link.
